Books on the Hill are delighted to work with many local schools
Through our links with publishers we can arrange for authors to visit your school. This is a lovely way to inspire children's enthusiasm for reading and books. We can provide the relevant books on a sale or return basis, or we can help you with a book order form. You may have arranged your own author visits and we are happy to help you supply books for that too.
Supply of Books
We can supply books from a wide range of publishers - ensuring you have a wide variety of choice across the whole curriculum and age ranges. We can offer considerable discount on large orders.
World Book Day
We stock World Book Day books so when you give the vouchers to your pupils - please direct them our way and let them experience the joy of walking into a bookshop!
We are very keen on providing a range of dyslexic friendly books - and that dyslexia should not be a barrier to enjoying a good read. If you need any advice, please ask.
We stock a range of Quick Read books - these are short books by bestselling authors, aimed at adults who do not read often, or find reading difficult and many them are suitable for older teenagers who are reluctant readers. They are only £1 each - please ask us for details.
We supply schools with our own book tokens which are great as rewards and prizes.
We welcome submissions of book reviews - so if you have any pupils who are keen readers - please direct them our way.
Please contact Alistair to discuss any queries, requests or requirements via: firstname.lastname@example.org or, 01275 873647.
We would love to work with you.
